You will serve as SUP QUALITY ASSURANCE SPEC (SHIPBUILDING) in the Site Director's Staff, Inactive Ship Maintenance Office (INACTSHIPMAINTO) of NAVSEA INACTSHIPMAINTO BREM.
Duties
You will supervise and be responsible for the administration of all planning and workload requirements associated with the inactivation, maintenance, and disposal of ships and craft assigned to or placed under agency.
You will perform quality assurance evaluations of the Contractor's safety, environmental, and hazardous material programs.
You will develop plans and techniques to fit new situations to improve overall program and policies.
You will establish customer alliances, anticipate and fulfill customer needs, and translate customer needs to programs/ projects.
You will guide, motivate, and oversee the activities of individuals and teams with focus on project/ program issues
You will inspect Government Furnished Property/Equipment to ensure that Contractor maintenance is performed as specified in Contract and Preventive Maintenance Schedules.
You must have the ability to conduct technical studies and investigations, problem analysis, and develop logical and
documents recommendations for program improvements.
You will serve as the Alternate Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (ACOR} and when acting in this capacity will be required to be on duly 24 hours a duty, 7 days a week.
You will determine quality assurance requirements for assigned acquisition programs, and ensure compliance with such requirements by advising on, reviewing, and evaluating work performed by other Government and contractor activities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11 equivalent) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and implementing Quality Assurance Programs (e.g., inactivation, maintenance, or disposal of Inactive Fleet programs) to develop action plans to resolve issues and ensure conformance with prescribed standards.
