You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Surface Operations Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will support the development and validation of ERP Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Functional Test Execution, Functional Design Review, Issue Resolution and risk mitigation strategy, production support and system monitoring, and Gap Analysis. You will analyze, extracts, summarizes, and identifies business trends and issues. You will be responsible for developing analytic methodologies and products that apply data mining, statistical and other analytic techniques, as well as the continued turning of the data infrastructure. You will ensure that the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services. You will monitor the system/process strengths and weaknesses to provide all levels of leadership alternatives and determining what improvements can be made.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Supply System Analyst experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying supply program management related to Navy and DoD budget and operations processes. I have experience utilizing Navy ERP systems and Navy Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) to develop analytical methodologies that apply data mining, statistical and other analytic techniques to recommend changes. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Working in conjunction with business analysts and technical teams in the implementation, use and sustainment of the data analytics within Navy ERP and with outside software including SAS; 2) Creating standard reports, data management & validation, and data exports, program validation and analytics; 3) Analyze statistical outputs from various logistics databases, to determine the performance of NAVSUP WSS, Navy depots, Fleet Maintenance & Supply Activities, DLA and other activities. 4) Researching, analyzing, extracting, summarizing, and identifying business trends and issues.
