About the Position: Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Force Modernization Training Branch (FMTB), US Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE). The incumbent independently plans and executes work to meet the organization's mission.
Duties
Responsible for complete development of test training programs and training support packages for highly technical and sophisticated equipment system.
Develops system training plans, training strategies, and products for new and displaced materiel systems using the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) process.
Responsible for all TD actions related to the documentation of capabilities requirements, system design, development, testing, fielding and training under the JCIDS process for Joint and Army acquisition programs.
Requirements

- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes developing, implementing and integrating all required Training Development (TD) actions related to MEDICAL new equipment under the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process. Assisting with training development actions related to documenting capabilities requirements, system design, development, testing, fielding and training the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) for acquisition programs. Experience developing system training plans (STRAP), training strategies, and products for new and displaced materiel systems under the JCIDS and analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) process. Integrating training acquisition with medical force modernization programs and preparing acquisition documentation as required by regulatory guidance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, Teaching, Education Studies, and Instructional Design.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
