About the Position: This position supports the Education and Training Directorate, Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute (DMRTI), and is located in Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Duties

Serve as subject matter expert for topics such as: joint and contingency operations; emergency management; and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) issues. Coordinate the development of standards of proficiency for joint medical operations, emergency management, and CBRNE. Utilize knowledge of the Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute (DMRTI) missions, goals, and policies to assist agencies with developing solutions to educational and training needs. Identifies training requirements for joint medical operations, emergency management, and CBRNE. Collaborate with the Instructional Systems Specialist to develop and evaluate training programs. Analyze concepts, plans, and actions to provide feedback on training program effectiveness. Provide training improvement recommendations based on research.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position may include shift work (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• This position may require rotating shifts (i.e. work schedule that requires employees to continuously rotate from one shift to another at predetermined intervals).
