About the Position: Serves as Training Specialist (Equipment) and Project Leader (Subject Matter Expert) performing a variety of analytical, planning, and related tasks concerned with MEDCoE Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) required, authorized, and on-hand equipment.
Duties
Develops and publishes specific and supply training materials and guidance documentation.
Serves as the action officer responsible for directing the development of resident and nonresident course materials developed by contractors.
Manages the Section III Equipment Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) for the organization.
Conducts Supply (Equipment) Collective and individual Training Analysis.
Represents organization at meetings impacting on supply collective/individual training publications and resident and nonresident training development.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing problem areas and making constructive recommendations for improvement of supply collective/individual training material and publications; developing and integrating doctrinal and training products involving supply logistics requirements and capabilities; preparing and designing visuals and layout of computer based instruction and interactive multimedia instruction for use in resident and nonresident instruction; and serving as supply subject matter expert in planning, developing, and reviewing supply-training equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
