You will serve as a FLEET OPERATIONS SCHEDULING SPECIALIST in the US FLEET FORCES COMMAND of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as the Fleet Resource Allocation Management Specialist with subject matter expertise in Joint and Navy automated deployment and employment processes.
You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing progressive improvements in USFFC operational planning and employment procedures, methods, and tools.
You will provide continuity between USFF, OPNAV, CCDR and Fleet senior schedulers.
You will serve as an analyst for the maintenance, review, and updating of deployment and employment of Naval Forces to support the development of force recommendations for the deployment of forces.
You will serve as the Fleet Scheduling Specialist responsible for recommending sourcing solutions for the deployment of Aircraft Carriers, Surface Combatants, and Amphibious forces.
You will execute the collaboration for maintenance and training cycles of the U.S. Fleet Forces
SECNAV assigned air, surface, subsurface and expeditionary forces.
You will prepare Navy courses of action, with risk assessments and justification, for recommended sourcing solutions.
You will maintain current and historical requests for forces with resulting deployments to meet Joint Staff and Combatant Commander’s force requests.

You will serve as the USFF Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the managing of the CNO approved Employment Scheduling software tool (WebSked).
Requirements

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications
To qualify for the Fleet Operations Scheduling Specialist, GS-0301-13 position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with the readiness lifecycle for U.S. Navy platform/weapon systems Fleet Response and Fleet Response Training Plans (FRP and FRTP) and how they address Combatant Commander requirements supporting the Global force Management Allocation Plan, Global Force Management Implementation Guidance, and Guidance for the Employment of the Force.
Experience with the processes and information flow associated with the Joint Staff and Combatant Commanders force request and related systems involved in the planning and conduct of military deployment and employment operations.
Experience representing deployment and employment planner requirements and articulating these requirements in technical terms.
Experience with the overall joint capability requirements management process, to include timetables, and submission and/or approval process is required to fully understand the importance of the Fleet Scheduling process.
Experience with management information system(s), office automation systems and processes, computer applications, principles, and techniques.
Experience preparing and presenting recommendations and solutions regarding complex issues based on analysis and evaluation, to include the preparation of reports, proposals, charts, and graphs.
Experience with and expert knowledge of scheduling, and readiness, to include remaining current on all changes to ship's schedules, inter-deployment training and readiness requirements.
