Duties

You will function as the Assistant Aviation Program Readiness Analyst. You will coordinate with TYCOM, Fleet and Component Commander staffs to define and forecast changes to requirements through all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process. You will serve as Programming and Budget Information System (PBIS) discovery agent to search and disseminate new issues in PBIS related to the PPBE process. Develop conceptual analytical framework and evaluation criteria to measure improvement in program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity as it applies to aviation war fighting capability.

Requirements

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience utilizing data analytics techniques to support analyses within a program management framework; *Experience researching informational databases or similar systems (e.g. Programming and Budget Information Systems) relative to planning, programming, budgeting and execution processes; *Experience assessing and identifying proposed readiness funding levels and potential adverse readiness impacts; *Experience constructing data sheets and graphical presentations (primarily in Microsoft Office) to support issues relative to operational requirements. Education

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
You are eligible for this appointing authority if you are an individual who obtained an associate's, bachelor's, master's, professional, doctorate, vocational, or technical degree, or a certificate from a qualifying educational institution, or have completed a qualifying career or technical education program within the previous 2 years.

**If you are a veteran who was unable to apply within two years of receiving your degree due to military service obligation, you have as long as six years after degree completion to apply.

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience:

GS-09:
A master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree directly related to the position being filled.

GS-07: One full year of graduate level education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement when education is directly related to the position being filled or superior academic achievement OR superior academic achievement.
