About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, G-8, PGM Analysis & Eval Division, Arlington, VA.
About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.
Duties
Ensures all support manpower requirements are determined during program workload increases and/or decreases.
Plan, direct, coordinate, and expedite projects, studies, and actions appropriate for each assignment.
Provide analysis, advice, and recommendations to senior ARNG leadership to provide solutions to enterprise-wide problems.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyze and evaluate (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives; advise on Force Structure, Training and Equipment programs for Planning, Programming, and Budget Execution (PPBE) processes; Identify new or improved business and management practices to measure to agency programs or operations; Evaluate programs and systems for operational issues.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-13 or equivalent).
