About the Position: This Budget Analyst position is located at ATEC G8 (Resource Management Directorate) Budget Division with duty location at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Duties

Develops budget/program processes, procedures, and guidance for executing financial management plans and programs. Analyzes budgetary impact of new or revised legislation, policies, and procedures. Allocates funds to organizations/programs based on analysis of budget estimates, historical expenditures, projected workload and approved funding. Provides financial advisory services for a major segment of the command budget, or for one or more test centers, based on knowledge of key financial regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
  • One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 15% of the time.
  • Must submit a Financial Disclosure Statement (OGE-450) upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
