About the Position: This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-14 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-15 grade step 10 in the broadband.

Duties

Providing financial execution, formulation, planning, and financial management policy guidance to the Headquarters (HQ staff and subordinate Project Managers (PMs). Performing all aspects of the planning, analysis, formulation, justification, presentation, and review of current and multi-year budgets, including considering dollar and manpower resources to support the lifecycle management. As subject matter expert, develops budget and program processes, procedures and guidance for executing financial management plans and programs. Represents the team in meetings that have an impact on the team's objectives, work products, and/or tasks.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for BUSINESS - FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (BUS-FM) certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
  • This position is subject to the NH-04 Non-supervisory salary control point of the PEO C3T AcqDemo Business Rules at the GS-14 step 10 salary level.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementBudget Formulation, Justification & PresentationOrganizational AwarenessPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (NH-03 or GS-13).
