About the Position: This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-14 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-15 grade step 10 in the broadband.
Duties
Providing financial execution, formulation, planning, and financial management policy guidance to the Headquarters (HQ staff and subordinate Project Managers (PMs).
Performing all aspects of the planning, analysis, formulation, justification, presentation, and review of current and multi-year budgets, including considering dollar and manpower resources to support the lifecycle management.
As subject matter expert, develops budget and program processes, procedures and guidance for executing financial management plans and programs.
Represents the team in meetings that have an impact on the team's objectives, work products, and/or tasks.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for BUSINESS - FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (BUS-FM) certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
- This position is subject to the NH-04 Non-supervisory salary control point of the PEO C3T AcqDemo Business Rules at the GS-14 step 10 salary level.

Specialized experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Performing program budget and execution analysis to obligate, distribute and execute funds to various stakeholders; 2) Developing written guidance for the budget and execution of programs; and 3) Providing executive oversight of monthly budget execution and monitoring trends by creating charts, reports and/or graphs.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or GS-13.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (NH-03 or GS-13).
