Duties
Utilizes Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) and Bar Code software.
Initiates work assignments with minimal supervision.
Investigates and determines root cause of inventory discrepancies.
Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Inventory Management Systems to query and generate supply and inventory reports.
Orders, receives, and issues office mail, forms, and janitorial supplies for Pueblo PDC from vendors.
Creates documents using various software applications.
Utilizes bar code and computer technology to issue stock and/or prepare back orders.
Requirements

- Selectee must pass preemployment requirements prior to appointment
- Males born after 12/03/59 must be registered for Selective Service
- Selectee may be required to serve a one year probationary period
- Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Confidential Financial Disclosure report may be required
- Physical - Effort: Duties require Moderate lifting is required for objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Incumbent is required to have good eye-hand coordination and proficient vision.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Supply Technician (Inventory), PG -2005-6, you must meet the following requirements:
To minimally qualify for the PG-6: You must possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (PG-05) (or equivalent) or higher to qualify for this position. Specialized experience at the next lower grade level for this position may include: 1) performing general supply, inventory records of supply transactions; 2) preparing reports, summarizing information and data; 3) working to resolve discrepancies and inconsistencies and 4) experience using Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) and Bar code software.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education
Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
