About the Position: This position is for a Supply Technician GS-2005-07 with the Department of the Army, Chemical Materials Activity, Directorate of Base Operations, Logistics Division located at Pueblo Chemical Depot in Pueblo, CO.

Duties

Utilize automated accounting systems to establish and maintain property control records. Review transaction records to verify correct administrative data. Assess inventory to maintain accurate volumes of supplies. Apply supply regulations to ensure the compliance of distrusted materials. Reconcile claims related to supply issues to account accurately for supply levels.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position is subject to the Lautenberg Amendment. Incumbency in this position is limited to persons who have not had a conviction of domestic violence under the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. 922).
  • This position requires successful completion of a Unit Armor Course.
  • This position TDY travel less than 5% of the time.
  • Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a valid state DRIVER'S LICENSE.
  • Incumbent must pass an initial and annual PHYSICAL EXAMINATION. Heavy lifting of 40lbs or more will be required.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) per AR 600-86. The incumbent will be required to sign form DA 5019.
  • A one year probation period may be required.
  • This position is subject to the requirements of the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP), IAW Army Regulation 50-6.

Creating control documents related to issuing, shipping and receiving shipments; and 3.) Utilizing automated systems to maintain property and distribution records. OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or Masters of Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Inventory ManagementSupply PlanningSupply SupportTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
