The Training Coordinator coordinates technical and non-technical training programs for the Technical Operations organization. Provides support in the safe and efficient operation of the vast and complex network of systems required for the world's largest air traffic control and navigation system.
Duties
H-Band Duties: Performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team and may perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs or other work activities. Maintains knowledge of FAA training requirements, policies and processes. Demonstrates considerable independence in planning time and assisting the Senior Training Coordinator plan and use assigned resources to accomplish projects/programs/activities. Ensures all prerequisite training, enrollment and pre-course counseling forms are completed in a timely manner. Consults with the coordinator or manager to identify training needs and translate them into training opportunities and/or training plans.

- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- This position is Part-time; 32 hours per week
Qualifications
To qualify for the H Band position applicants must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the next lower grade level of FV-G/GS-10/11 that equipped the applicant with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:To qualify for the I Band position, applicants must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the next lower grade level of FV-H/FG/GS-12 that equipped the applicant with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes: Coordinating technical and non-technical training programs; evaluating, tracking and reporting employees' training and certification status on systems and services that support the National Airspace System (NAS); and compiling, tracking, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
