About the Position: This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 encompasses grades 14 and 15 on the General Schedule. Incumbent will be selected at one or more of the below locations. Total pay will depend on location. Tampa, FL (Macdill AFB) Fort Shafter, HI Camp Smith, HI Stuttgart, Germany Wiesbaden, Germany Miami, FL Colorado Springs, CO

Duties

Create the framework for strategic plans and guidelines for the long-range planning, development, and coordination of the overall Security Assistance/Cooperation program. Designs comprehensive studies and detailed analysis of multi-faceted functions and processes to support developing long-range program plans. Prepare and deliver briefings to large multi-disciplinary groups. Develops Security Cooperation planning efforts in coordination and collaboration with other United States Government (USG) agencies. Identifies gaps and impediments that negatively impact successful plan implementation efforts and develops solid and well-researched recommendations for policies/procedures to reduce these gaps.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • The duties of this position require occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management Certification within 5 years of entrance on duty.
