Serves as a Program Lead/Subject Matter Expert for ATO National Airspace System (NAS) Requirements Team in the Eastern Service Center, Planning and Requirements Group.
Duties
Performs multiple, varying and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. Acts as principal technical specialist or as a project manager or team leader for large work activities. Responsible for gathering and validating the requirements for the establishment and/or sustainment of all NAS facilities, staffed and unstaffed, meeting milestones and deadlines within the team based on supervisor instructions, and provides recommendations for improvement and cost savings.

- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS -13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is:Applies experience and comprehensive technical knowledge of a wide range of methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information on program, systemic, and specific initiative issues and the impact of technological, procedural, financial, and managerial considerations. Supports the prioritization of NAS needs and communicates them to the program offices for funding consideration while considering the objectives and goals of the ATO. Conducts research, facility condition index reviews, and white papers/limited business case studies as required in developing the proper requirements statements, utilizing experience and comprehensive technical knowledge.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
