You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Assistant Commander for Sustainment Group (V4), FMS Sustainment Department (V451000) of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF
Duties
You will plan, manage, coordinate and implement full life cycle integrated logistics support of the weapon systems.
You will analyze/evaluate requests from foreign government for price and availability data on specific weapons systems.
You will manage Logistic Conference and Program Definition (LCPD) to establish the foreign customer’s requirements and to evaluate the country’s facilities, resources, and capability to provide the required operational/maintenance support.
You will analyze logistic support requirements of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to be considered by customer countries, report the anticipated costs and impact on support, process FMS customer ECP documentation and recommend support concepts.
You will establish the schedule for each ILS element, and direct/coordinate all logistics actions, including headquarters/field activities to assure integration of the foreign requirements into Command plans and production schedules.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS 5-11) or pay band (NH-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Logistics Management Specialist. Specialized experience must include some or all of the following: 1) Providing acquisition, sustainment management, and Life Cycle support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to aircraft/weapon programs; 2) Assisting in the planning, analysis and execution of an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to existing and future FMS cases; 3) Reviewing, analyzing, evaluating requests/issues and finding solutions; and 4) Identifying, budgeting, and managing resource requirements.
