You will serve as a Management & Program Analyst in the Carrier Planning Activity (CPA).
Duties
You will support the aircraft carrier availability budget submittal process.
You will compile data, perform analysis and make recommendations for the establishment or modification of availability life-cycle notional man-days to support OPNAV.
You will compile data and develop availability specific execution requirements submissions to translate scheduled maintenance requirements into execution requirements tied to Corporate Planning Estimates (CPEs).
You will ensure execution requirements submissions and life-cycle notional man-days accurately reflect the impact of approved initiatives
You will review work accomplished by contractors to ensure it complies with established task statement, good practice and meets established quality.
You will estimate and reports on progress in meeting established milestones and deadlines for completion of assignments, projects and tasks.
You will maintain records of work being accomplished through in-house programs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing life cycle management to forecast maintenance requirements for Aircraft Carriers.
