You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SUSTAINMENT GROUP, LOGISTICS INTERGRATION DEPARMENT, STRIKE WEAPONS & UAV BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. This position is located at Patuxent River, MD. This position is the HARPOON Assistant Program Manager for Logistics supporting PMA201, Precision Strike Weapons Program Office.
Duties
You will manage all aspect of sustainment for the Air/Surface and subsurface weapons variants in multiple configurations, containers (all different for each variant) and surface launch control systems.
You will be responsible for developing, processing, and negotiating contracts with the OEM for HII+, ENCAP and sustainment activities.
You will maintain close coordination and interaction with Foreign Military Sales partners and international PMA DAPMLs for the utilization of spare USN owned components.
You will work with OPNAV N98, N97 and N96, NAVSEA, USFF, ASL-30 and other commands to support, sustain and respond to time critical taskers concerning the viability, supportability, cost and reliability of the Harpoon weapons system.
You will lead and execute a comprehensive Product Support Strategy ensuring continuous Life Cycle Support across a Strike Weapons product portfolio.
You will be responsible for planning, projecting, and submission of budgetary requirements to Echelon I level. Sponsorship and defense and execution of these budgets is a critical duty.
You will develop, implement, and execute Strike Weapons maintenance capability to achieve program goals and objectives within budget and life cycle cost across organic and industry entities.
You will critically evaluate readiness degraders, issues, and problems. Identify and choose appropriate courses of action that balance the interests of the program mission and the stakeholders.
You will participate in risk management processes and early identification of system sustainment risks.
You will determine best approach in planning and expending resources/funding to ensure adequate and affordable logistics support posture.
You will assist in the development and management of contract requirements (i.e. statements of work and contract data requirements) to support systems engineering/acquisition activities.
You will be responsible for developing/maintain Logistics documentation to include the LCSP, LSA, DSOR, and other supporting Logistics Elements documents.
You will be responsible for other actions, as assigned by the PMA201, Precision Strike Weapons Program, Product Support Manager.
You will lead a diverse and geographically dispersed Logistics Teams, collaborate across Acquisition Competencies and Stakeholders to achieve holistic sustainment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DS-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Providing logistics briefs to senior leadership and stakeholders, both verbally and written; 2) Experience pertaining to contracts management, CDRLs, and contract performance execution; 3) Experience related to budget management and financial controls; 4) Leading Readiness Control Board (RCB) activities, administering and executing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives.
