This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Bolling AFB, Washington D.C. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. Duties
Expert Information Technology Specialist working in specialty area to include policy and planning, security, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, network services, data management, systems administration, and customer support.
Performs the full range of activities relating to IT project management to include in-garrison support, trip site support, and continuity of operations locations.
Performs strategic planning; capital planning and investment control; resource management; architecture and infrastructure planning and management; technology insertion/modernization.
Serves as an expert advisor to the WHCA Commander, WHMO chief information officer on policy development, coordination, and implementation.
Performs work involving the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the WHMO Command and Control Network.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Basic Requirement:
Attention to Detail- experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been responsible for reviewing the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards.
Customer Service- developing and maintaining relationships with customers, anticipating and assessing the current and future information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products or services that are tailored to meet customer needs.
Oral Communication- briefing senior-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
Problem Solving- identifying alternatives to address unique, highly complex, or sensitive information technology-related issues. I have anticipated information technology-related problems and have identified and evaluated potential sources of information to generate alternative solutions.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: experience leading technical and administrative functions for a team of telecommunications, IT, and maintenance specialists, and overseeing/managing contractor work.

Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI) based upon an Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), AND be approved for Presidential Support Duty in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White - Category II, minimum).

Education
