About the Position: PEO Missiles and Space is on the cutting edge of the Army's long-range precision fires, air and missile defense, hypersonic, directed energy, counter-unmanned aerial systems, integrated fires mission command, and aviation and ground missiles modernization initiatives.
This is a pay banded position. The NH-03 encompasses grades 12 and 13 on the General Schedule.
Duties
Point of contact for management status reporting requirements, in and in administering manpower and out processing of personnel, and human resources management programs for the office.
Liaison to the servicing Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) for all aspects of the human resources process.
Prepares requests for personnel actions (RPA) for the Project Office.
Advises management and employees on performance management programs including Acquisition Demo (AcqDemo) regulatory policies and procedures.
Collaborate with senior management to implement an effective strategic human resources management program that supports the Project Office recruitment strategies.
Perform a variety of Civilian Human Resources functions on behalf of the organization including oversight of the Awards and Recognition Programs.
Administers acquisition demonstration pay setting policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- Temporary Duty Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Performing a variety of civilian human resources and management functions such as recruitment, staffing, and/or classification in support of the organization's human resources management program; 2) Administering acquisition demonstration pay setting policies and procedure; 3) Utilizing automated systems or other tracking methods to monitor the status of actions; 4) Reviewing manpower documents such as the Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) to identify discrepancies that require corrections; and 5) Interpreting regulatory policies and procedures to advise management on human resources matters.
This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level (NH-02/GS-11) position in the federal service.
