You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) in the Surface Warfare Officer Distribution Division of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
Duties
You will ensure accurate, and accounting of funds allocated for use in writing permanent change of station (PCS) orders for military personnel.
You will provide maintenance and revision of military records using inputs for career changes and the processing of orders.
You will develop a screening board database and initiate all screening board correspondence.
You will update the division website with screening board results.
You will receive and process applications from officers and ensure applications are completed and in proper format.
You will instruct new military and civilian personnel on established procedures, policies and practices.
You will screen email, phone calls, and correspondence and respond to constituents.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Ensuring accurate and accounting of funds allocated for use in writing permanent change of station (PCS) orders for military personnel. 2. Providing maintenance and revision of military records using inputs for career changes and the processing of orders. 3. Develops screening board database and initiates all screening board correspondence.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
