Duties
Serves as a conduit and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and the National Guard Bureau (NGB).
Reviews, analyzes, coordinates, formulates, develops, validates, prioritizes and evaluates the 1st SFC(A) POM including input for Materiel Modernization requirements.
Develops and implements policy and procedures for 1st SFC(A) subordinate units concerning the management and change of force structure documents.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
- Position is subject to random drug testing.
- TDY Travel is required 10% of the time.
- THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position.
- Supervisory probationary period of one-year is required.
- One-year probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes serving as Senior Analyst managing and leading the Strategic Planning and Programming (SPP) Division. Responsible for the formulation, preparation, presentation, and administration of force integration policies, programs, and strategic long-range plans within imposed resources constraints; Reviewing, analyzing, coordinating, formulating developing, validating, prioritizing and providing input for operational and training requirements resourcing. Conducting in depth reviews of program sufficiency to meet mission requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
