About the Position: The primary purpose of the position is to provide managers with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of agency managed acquisition programs, by accomplishing a wide variety of assignments concerned with planning and execution of acquisition programs, acquisition review and oversight support for major defense acquisition programs, and effectiveness and efficiency of programs and operations.

Duties

Creating complex queries to pull program financial data from source systems, validating the correctness and accuracy of the queries. Using of a variety of data Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) methods to generate custom data sets for analysis. Using data from query results to create visualizations which provide business insights into the project and program budget and expenditures, including trend analysis and predictive analytics. Using of data modeling and visualization tools such as Microsoft power BI. Comprehending a variety of source systems sufficiently to allow for accurate and reliable adhoc reporting on project budget and expenditures, including trend analysis and predictive analytics.
