You will serve as the Agency Business Solutions (ABS) Engineer within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). You will be responsible for the engineering organization critical to the continued success of NASA's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You will provide technical advice and recommendations to the ABS Program Manager on the architecture, design, cybersecurity, technical implementation, testing and data management for the ERP.
Duties
Oversees the systems engineering organization critical to the continued success of NASA’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Provides technical advice and recommendations to the Agency Business Solutions (ABS) Program Manager on the architecture, design, cybersecurity, technical implementation, testing and data management for the ERP.
Oversees and directs the technical planning, development, testing, and fielding of changes, enhancements, and updates to NASA’s ERP.
Works with OCIO, NASA business stakeholders, and NASA’s external stakeholders to ensure the ERP’s technical architecture fits in current and future architectural plans.
Ensures the ERP meets all Federal and NASA cybersecurity requirements, builds proper security safeguards into the system, and develops or updates Authority To Operate (ATO) documentation as required.
Monitors and reports on contractor’s performance for the technical implementation, cybersecurity, testing and data management of the ERP.
Responsible for creating the technology roadmaps and defining / technical plans for the ERP.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level
Managing the architecture, design, cybersecurity, technical implementation, testing or data environment for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application or platform;
Providing expertise in translating complex business requirements into a system design and a technical implementation that meets strategic goals, objectives, desired timeline and budget;
Establishing relationships and leading technical conversations that facilitate integration, adaption, and continuous
improvement for an ERP.
AND
You MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
