Duties
The incumbent will serve as the Department Head for the Program Analysis and Evaluation (PAE) over the Medical Expense and Reporting System (MEPRS) and Data Quality (DQ) monthly reporting for Naval Hospital Bremerton.
Analyze financial data to produce cost analysis for the consolidation of medical subspecialties.
Advise Senior Leaders on the evaluation and the compliance and effectiveness of programs and operations (i.e., DMHRSi, MEPRS, and Data Quality).
Develop studies communicating data and expense comparisons to justify validity and influence manpower and budget decisions.
Establish operating guidelines to implement procedures, methods, and other related changes.
Determine system deficiencies and collaborate with appropriate personnel to correct inaccuracies.

Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting resource management staff with economic, financial studies and/or and statistical techniques for manpower requirements; conducting reviews of operating practices; using automated tracking systems such as Medical Expense and Performance Reporting (MEPRS) to track performance and operation expenses; analyzing findings and make recommendations on manpower issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or equivalent)
