About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources (HR) Specialist in the Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA), performing operational assignments within the Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA) and may be eligible for local commuting area remote work in the future as determined by agency policy.

Duties

Develops plans to ensure effective recruitment to meet projected staffing needs Provide daily advisory services to all levels of management Review technical procedures to assure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Assist key officials in the resolution of recruitment and placement problems related to any phase of the recruitment process. Employ the most effective approach in recruitment of personnel from external sources and within the Federal service.

Interpreting civilian Human Resources (HR) laws to provide advisory services on staffing functions such as special placement programs, recruitment sources (including Direct Hire Authorities and non-competitive eligibilities) and/or special pay incentives; 2). Analyzing and resolving civilian human resources problems/issues; consolidating and analyzing data from civilian human resources automated systems to create quality human resources products such as job analyses, vacancy announcements, referral lists, etc.; And 3). Conducting analyses and resolution of complex civilian human resources functions to streamline processes.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer ServiceProblem SolvingStaffing and Recruiting Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
