About the Position: This position is located at the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), U.S. Military Academy, West Point. Located in the scenic Hudson River valley, only 50 miles from New York City.

Duties

Receive incoming supplies and equipment by unloading conveyances. Move items manually or by using warehouse material handling equipment. Check items against proper documents. Report discrepancies and damages following established procedures. Operate a motor vehicle on installation roads and training sites to make daily distribution runs. Perform general cleaning ow warehouse areas, service issues points and linen rooms.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• Position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain nd maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• Position has a requirement to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and lift and carry materials weighing over 50 pounds with assistance in the regular performance of duties.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
