You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the ADMINISTRATION AMD RESOURCES MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will provide advice and assistance on management-employee relations, discipline, adverse actions, performance management and recognition, and related functions. You will review and advise management on performance plans and provides technical information on performance management systems. You will facilitate settlements/resolutions ensuring compliance with law, rule, or regulation.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: serving as a technical authority in applying and developing labor/employee relations policy, independently preparing disciplinary and adverse actions, effectively communicating guidance and advice, applying union/agency grievance procedures, and conducting union negotiation and contract administration.
