About the Position: Serves as the Branch Chief of the Training Management Section, maintains and tracks the training support portion of the Installation strategic plans.
Duties
Participate in integration of the garrison directorates and support of long-term goals and objectives in support of the plan, including the Installation Planning Board documents and presentations.
Prepare and present briefings for employees, managers, representatives from other garrisons, the community and others in reference to training support Capabilities and Strategic Planning at all levels.
Determine training support requirements to support tenant and non-tenant training support customers.
Prepare monthly Training Support Information Sharing Forums such as the monthly Training Support Resource Conference and Weekly G3/S3 coordination and synch meetings.
Serve as the primary lead, reviews, updates, and disseminates Commanders Smart Books for all new Battalion and above Commanders within the Division and units within the AOR for support.

- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. analyzing regulations to formulate training plans; 2. providing technical assistance on military related training such as mobilization training; 3. evaluating the effectiveness of training programs; 4. overseeing training support actions while progressing thru approval stages such as Installation Planning Board, Program Management Reviews, Training Support Systems In Progress Reviews, Executive Steering Committee, Real Property Planning Board Biennial IMCOM Regional Collective Training Capability IPR's and other DA, IMCOM and Garrison Level forums.
