About the Position: Serves as senior advisor to the Director of Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP).
This is a Temporary appointment NTE 12 months.

Duties
Provides direction and management for development, implementation, and sustainment of the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) management functions and policy issues.
Conducts special studies and projects pertaining to mission, functions, and organization of the Command.
Develops short and long-range plans covering program management in support of contingencies or emergencies as they arise.
Manage customer requirements, compile cost and performance data, identify trends and potential issues, and prepare courses of action for supported Commanders.
Performs some supervisory related functions to include assigning and reviewing work, evaluating performance, and advising on complex issues.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is an obligated position.
- Temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 30% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Advanced Level certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- This is a designated Critical Acquisition Position.
- This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP): Acquisition Corps Membership is no longer required for Critical Acquisition Positions (CAP)). CAP selectees must execute a 3-year tenure agreement.
- Must sign an Acquisition Corps written tenure agreement to remain in the Federal service in this position for at least 3 years.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain a government passport.
- The incumbent shall be required to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid drivers’ license.
- Selection for assignment to this position requires passing appropriate physical examination for overseas duty.
- This position is designated as Emergency Essential (EE) IAW the requirements prescribed in AMC R 500-4, DODD 1404.10 and AR 690-11.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a top security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-13).
