You will serve as a Financial Management analyst in the Comptroller Group, Business and Financial Operations Department, Technical Operations and Product Support Division of
NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will assist in formulation of budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities
You will evaluate budget requests, and control and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
You will perform studies or assist others with full scale studies.
You will provide information about, and interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations.
You will perform a variety of fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.
You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers.

- This is a Financial Management Level 01 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Must obtain and maintain all required certification and/or license as a condition of employment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assists the BFM Team Lead with analyzing phasing and expenditure plans, execution tracking data, data calls, and reports in N-ERP; 2) Reviews funds execution with the team, in accordance with policy, rules and regulations; 3) Review funding, current and expired, with the team to work toward funding closeout; 4) Assists the team with preparation of budget exhibit submissions and assists with creating planning project structures; 5) Maintain accountability and customer focus in all work assignments; provide advice and support; effectively manage time and resource constraints to achieve results consistent with organizational goals, priorities and customer expectations; 6) Maintain communication with peers, customers, leads, supervisors and stakeholders; 7) Mitigate business and financial risk by identifying and communicating constraints and/or taking action to resolve customer financial issues before they adversely affect the organization; 8) Collaborate with team members and communicate across boundaries to share information and knowledge.

Education

1 full year of graduate level education OR
