You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PEO Unmanned Aviation & Strike Weapons of PEO CM and UAV JNT.

Duties

Responsible for project management functions as they relate to business and financial operations for all of the commodities. You will provide budgetary and financial advice when necessary and direct support to the IPT Lead in matters as they relate to business and financial management operations. You will be expected to anticipate the various milestones and associated deliverables of the PPBES process. You will be expected to to assist the Lead BFM in the execution of the day-to-day business and financial management duties and responsibilities of the financial team.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
• This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Formulating budgets and support plans; 2) Performing program funds execution and integrating financial business methods and practices with the acquisition requirements for the PEO; and 3) Analyzing financial and budgetary relationships to develop recommendation and/or budgetary actions under these types of conditions and time pressures; 4) Monitoring and reporting financial execution status, and directly contributes to the production of budget exhibits; 5) Responsible for the associated financial records and reconciliation of commitments, obligations, and expenditures, to ensure accountability of program's funds.
