You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST within the Maritime Allowance and Outfitting Department, Fleet Outfitting, Allowance and Customer Operations Directorate of Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS).

Duties

You will provide technical support concerning the efficiency, maintenance, and effectiveness of the Allowance and Outfitting Programs and reporting process. You will retrieve, evaluate, and analyze data to report on performance and budget levels. You will utilize a variety of Navy systems and databases to validate inventory, coordinate and execute projects, and perform quality reviews. You will review data for errors, discrepancies, and potential problems.

Requirements

Qualifications

For the GS-07 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of organizational regulations, policies, and procedures to provide supply systems and logistics support/assistance. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors and recommending solutions; 2) Using a variety of databases to extract and gather data to support analysis by higher graded personnel; and 3) Effectively conveying professional, programmatic, or technical information using oral and written communication. For the GS-05 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather related data, and recognize solutions; 2) Utilizing a variety of database and software systems to organize information; and 3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing. In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

For the GS-07 Grade Level:
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
or
Successful completion of one full year of graduate level education.
or
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.

For the GS-05 Grade Level:
Successful completion of a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
or
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
