You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the NAVAL STATION MAYPORT of ASD MAYPORT FL.
Duties
You will maintain internal sectional files to control receipts of MILSTRIP replenishment requisitions, follow-up on actions, back-orders, requisition status messages and other required information.
You will review requisitions and retrograde disposition messages for accuracy and completeness.
You will initiate research on supply transactions and provide customer service for items requiring special research such as tracer, shipping, status and monthly reconciliation messages.
You will oversee the research and resolution of all discrepancies, ensuring RSUPPLY and the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Information System (NALCOMIS) files are updated correctly.

Qualifications
To qualify for a GS-09 your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying knowledge of inventory management principles that are necessary to negotiate and maintain stock levels, which include HAZMIN/HAZMAT inventory and shipping procedures.
Experience utilizing the RSupply and NALCOMIS applications (or similar applications); and all phases of the aviation and naval supply systems.
Experience overseeing the research and resolution of all discrepancies, ensuring relevant RSupply and NALCOMIS files are updated correctly.
Experience interpreting and applying rules, regulations and procedures governing department operations and the Naval Supply System through MlLSTRIP/MILSTRAP, RSupply and MALCOMlS procedures.
Experience gathering and analyzing information from a wide range of pertinent sources to develop guidelines that improve operating procedures and effectiveness.
Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
Experience conducting inventories and ensuring annual inventory of PUK material residing in-house and aboard ship are completed.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
