You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST within NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.
Duties
You will manage, monitor, evaluate, and coordinate the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for complex ship repair and modernization projects.
You will identify needs for training, resources, equipment, and workload management; coordinating with contractors and support teams to ensure those needs are met.
You will represent the department in high-level logistics meetings, as well as providing updates and important information to your chain of command.
You will keep the department compliant with Information Technology safeguards and protocols.
You will plan work for subordinates, instruct employees on technical and administrative matters, and complete routine personnel actions, including resolving employee complaints and enacting disciplinary measures.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying extensive knowledge of Navy Supply Systems, Supply Chain Management, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to execute program requirements. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying the principles, procedures, techniques, and practices of supply operations management to manage, monitor, evaluate, and coordinate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for complex projects; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating logistics management programs to resolve issues; 3) Applying knowledge of repair and modernization Integrated Logistics Support; 4) Identifying necessary resources, training, and equipment to support supply operations; 5) Developing detailed technical manuals and/or procedural Desk Top Guides; and 6) Providing technical advice and guidance to team members.
