You will serve as a Supply Management Specialist in the Logistics Support Team (LST) Branch of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.

Duties

You will performs duties related to the overall US Navy Shipboard logistics requirement to include controlling system access, scheduling, reviewing and financials on assigned storage facilities. You will prepare, coordinate, and submit reports and analysis on ship logistics and financials. You will performs other ship supply related planning functions such as restocking goals, researching, requisitioning, and preparation of requisitioning documents online and manually. You will performs duties related to the overall logistics requirement, which include scheduling and preparing financial reports on Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and Warehouse facility. You will processes daily reports and submits to required agencies via web portals; runs the reports utilizing each ship's RSupply database and then uploading the file to NAVSUP via required submission portal

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a practical knowledge of a wide range of well-established and commonly applied federal supply principles, concepts, and methodologies in support of a shipboard supply program to provide supply chain management, logistics, and financial processes support for ships deployed and in homeport. I also have experience assisting and leading others in the conduct of shipboard supply support work and experience utilizing judgement and analysis to resolve shipboard supply issues. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Collaborate in planning, scheduling, and implementing comprehensive repair part support for Littoral Combat Ships; 2) Analyze effectiveness of systems and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and internal controls; 3) Participate in the management of multiple Classes of Supply, such as Class IX Repair Parts, Class III Petroleum, Class II Equipage and consumables and Class VIII Medical Material in support of the LCS sea frame; 4) Utilize automated supply systems such as Relational Supply (RSUPPLY), One Touch and Federal Logistics (FEDLOG) to develop/maintain a comprehensive history of customer requests, resolutions, and to create reports; 5) Ensure supply operations are sustained to support material requirements onboard LCS; 6) Work effectively with others from a variety of supply backgrounds to work out solutions to programs or operations problems.
