You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the AIR SYSTEMS GROUP, LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT, READINESS AND FLEET ANALYSTICS DIVISION, PROGRAM READINESS ANALYSIS BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will improve logistics forecasting/analysis methods, tools, databases, and processes. You will identify the kind and degree of logistics support changes required to optimize readiness, reduce cost and logistics support effectiveness for in-service support of Naval Aviation Weapon systems. You will provide in-depth advice and consultation in the process of developing ILS strategies, phase-in schedules, procedures, and ILS in-puts to optimize resources and readiness. You will be responsible for developing and presenting a project approach plan for logistics analysis efforts and for estimating resource requirements to accomplish the assigned tasks. You will provide direct analysis support to the PMA-299 PSM/APML on Fleet logistics and readiness issues via Reliability Control Board (RCB), Degrader Action Cell (DAC) teams and any subsequent components prioritization efforts. You will be responsible for developing and tracking Program Office Operational Support Costs reduction strategies and initiatives, to ensure compliance with the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) strategic guidance for cost reduction goals. You will be responsible for the developing Program Office Cost Adjustment Sheets in support of annual POM Flying Hour Program Cost Adjustment Sheet submission cycle. You will work with Program Office PSM, APMLs and IPT leads to generate and present initiatives to secure additional Program Office future funding.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of aviation logistics (maintenance and supply), critical thinking (analysis) and business analytics; 2) Ability to work across the spectrum of readiness metrics in resolving critical problems and issues; 3) Knowledge and ability to use various applications and databases for readiness analysis. possess ability to develop infrastructure support.
