You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the INSPECTOR GENERAL OFFICE of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will serve as an expert and skilled investigator carrying out a wide spectrum of highly complex investigative activities to detect and deter fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement.
You will solicit and propose areas for review, monitoring, and continuous process improvement to improve overall efficiencies.
You will provide expert advice and counsel to senior leadership regarding all issues related to audits.
You will independently administer and execute the Managers’ Internal Control Program (MICP) and oversee the execution of it by ensuring Internal Control Reviews (ICRs) are properly documented and fraud risks are determined.
You will provide oversight, mentor and train employees in all phases of IG investigations, conducting reviews, implementing the MIC program, external command audit liaison and command inspection preparation.
You will provide High Level Management Briefings on IG programs and ensure new supervisors are trained regarding the IG Office mission.
You will analyze current effectiveness and efficiencies to develop recommendations that adapt to changing technical authorities as command structure changes.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing instruction, rules and regulations, interviewing witnesses, subject matter experts, complainants, and subjects during highly complex investigative activities to detect and deter fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement; 2) Providing a clear, concise and factual Report of Investigations; 3) Independently plan, coordinate, and conduct a variety of comprehensive compliance and special inspections in accordance with the NAWCAD IG Inspection Plan to improve processes, detect deficiencies and provide recommendations to senior leadership to correct the conditions impairing mission accomplishment, command integrity or economical use of resources; 4) Analyzing audit announcement letters and coordinating with the appropriate external agencies, General Accountability Office, Department of Defense Inspector General, Naval Audit Service and other agencies contracted by Congress.
