This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of the Deputy Administrator Division, Career Board.
This position primary purpose is to monitor and manage the TCN program, the HRC Financial Program, coordinating the
Vacancy Announcement process, the development and distribution of Best Qualified Lists (BQLs) for Supervisory
Special Agent (SSA) postings.
Duties
As a Program Analyst, your typical work assignments may include:
Serving SharePoint Administrator for Career Board Website.
Serving as technical and subject matter expert, providing guidance in areas that require extensive examination and interpretation of existing processes and methods.
Providing oversight and direction to performance management of CB programs.
Developing and implementing review plans, conducting audits, analyzing and evaluating data collected, and prepareing
management briefings and reports that document findings, conclusions, and recommendations on major program
areas.
Providing financial expertise on TCN budgeting and financial management issues and activities, including historical
costs.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrate your ability in: (1) Overseeing the planning, organizing, and directing team study work, and effectively conducting critical negotiations with management; (2) Preparing, developing, and defending the business cases for budget requests and provides justifications for unfunded request related to an agency travel program; (3) Determining fiscal budget and human resources requirements and controls expenditures; (4) Communicating and collaborating with managers to gather data and document accomplishment; and (5) Preparing management briefings and reports that document findings, conclusions, and recommendations on major program areas.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
