Duties
Serves as senior member or coordinator of a project/program support team responsible for business systems requirements assessment,
contd evaluation, analysis, elicitation, interpretation, planning, design, documentation ,testing, validation, implementation, and maintenance of an assigned area/subsystem in DLA Information Operations.
Evaluates and analyzes the customer’s business system requirements feasibility, cost-effectiveness, integrity, completeness, compliance, computability and testability.
Assists in the evaluation, selection, and integration of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and/or Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions.
Identifies and defines system interface requirements for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, integrity, completeness, compliance, compatibility, and testability.
Tests and validates that all software modifications meet system specifications and fulfill the approved business system requirements.
Conducts and/or participates in research and investigation of technological developments that have potential to improve the design,
documentation, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Oversees implementation and maintenance of system software modifications.
Participates in release management, software transition, and deployment activities.
Monitors and maintains system performance, identifies and analyzes operational problems, develops solutions, and takes corrective action as appropriate.
Creates hierarchical structures, logical process models; module interface plans, functional foundation modules and/or logical data base views.
Scopes decomposes and refines requirements using various techniques such as process and data modeling.
Develops functional designs, operational concepts; detailed inputs/outputs, system interrelationships, and processing logic.
