You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (PMA-274 OM&S Lead) in the NAWCAD Air Systems Group, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Division, Operating Materials and Services (OM&S) Branch (AB33500) supporting PMA-274 Supply program of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
The incumbent is responsible for establishing and managing an efficient and effective process providing historical and current data material data for all inventory segments owned and in the custody of NAVAIR program offices.
Duties
You will serve as a PMA-274 OM and S Lead who is responsible for the planning, coordination and management of all PMA-274 Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and General Equipment (GE).
You will manage inventory and be accountable for maintaining accurate and deliverable inventory numbers.
You will manage the government property management requirements for the PMA-274 which involves many technical/program decisions and major DoD Service operating forces/components.
You will support day-to-day property tracking using the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).
You will certify the acceptance of goods received from commercial vendors or contractors and authorize the payment for goods received.
You will conduct inventory audits of applicable inventory at periods as prescribed by written directives.
You will direct the research, validation, and remediation of inventory gains/losses as well as ensure records are maintained accurately, and discrepancies are identified, mitigated, and corrected.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Planning, implementing, and executing modification programs and maintenance programs as related to supply support;
2) Managing and guiding the efforts of all logistics personnel and associated facilities who provide property governance activities;
3) Creating and executing a physical inventory plan to include procedures and recommending changes or other corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy;
4) Maintaining lines of communication with all relevant partners and stakeholders within their area of responsibility and ensuring that their plants are in a constant state of readiness; and
5) Establishing and managing an efficient and effective process to provide historical and current data material data for all inventory segments.
