You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Research & Engineering Group, DEPT OF NAVY of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will analyze quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends, conditions, or weaknesses in the quality or inspection system.
You will advise employees on quality assurance (QA) work procedures and techniques (e.g., engineering, inspection, testing, production, maintenance).
You will interface with industrial quality assurance (QA) specialists to discuss and mutually solve actual or potential quality problems.
You will participate with production, engineering, and other activities in developing plans and procedures for assuring quality and reliability of
products.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and applying specifications and other technical data is required to make necessary revisions to quality checklists. 2) Programing and calibrating computerized inspection equipment including CMM and optical emission analyzers. 3) Traveling to external contractors to monitor and inspect product conformance and quality. 4) Planning and implementing appropriate procedures during prototype, pre-production, and production. 5) Monitoring programs for controlling the accuracy of test and measuring equipment as well as the quality of materials and supplies required to support ALRE and SE production and prototype activities.
