Duties

You will work in all phases of the software development life cycle, including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, and support. You will develop high quality, reusable and maintainable code using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Javascript, and SOQL on the Salesforce Platform using Object-Oriented concepts. You will play a key role designing the underlying Salesforce architecture including configuration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce functionality. You will implement Salesforce configuration changes, including: Flow, Process Builder, objects, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and validations.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For the GS-12 position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and executing complex IT-related assignments using conventional approaches and techniques; 2) Developing, testing, documenting and maintaining solutions, integrations, and data migration using Salesforce resources such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, APEX Classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components; 3) Translating functional and technical requirements into database designs and application prototypes; 4) Validating and testing application software development quality, logic and functionality by following coding standards and participating in coding reviews; 5) Ensuring compliance with software development, information security/information assurance standards, policies, principles and practices. You must ALSO have IT-related experience demonstrating the following four competencies: 1. ATTENTION TO DETAIL - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.

OR

Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
