You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the ENTERPRISE SERVICES DEPARTMENT at the NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will oversees all aspects of the planning, development, deployment, training, operation, support, trouble-shooting and maintenance of enterprise productivity and collaboration systems, public and intranet websites and video streaming systems.
You will lead the development and implementation of hardware, software, services and solutions to ensure their functional effectiveness and appropriateness.
You will evaluate the risks and benefits of IT alternative solutions and provides recommended strategies for management approval.
You will lead teams in the development, and application of new and updated academic, administrative, and professional hardware, software, policies and practices.
You wil perform supervisory functions for direct reports, including hiring, evaluation, workload balancing, direction and disciplinary actions as required.

- The incumbent may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and additional hours if an emergent security situation arises.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing DoD higher education information technology (IT) enterprise services and applications to meet organizational strategic goals and objectives, mission and business functions; 2) Providing IT technical expertise and guidance of hardware, software, and systems (e.g., servers, end-point devices, software development systems, enterprise collaborative systems, web content management systems, web servers, learning management systems, video streaming systems, account management systems) to assure effective support for college/university end users computing needs; 3) Performing IT program and project management for an academic institution using integrated development methodologies to define required customer training, documentation, integration, implementation, upgrades, maintenance procedures and critical success factors; and 4) Establishing priorities and setting workload objectives for IT specialist to ensure completion of assignments and projects.
