About the Position: Incumbent will perform analytical and adminstrative duties relating to the budgetary programs, policies, and procedures for the 1st Space Brigade, US Army Space & Missile Defense Command, located at Fort Carson, CO.

Duties
Conducts budgetary duties such as formulation, preparation, and cost estimating.
Processes funds received, including reimbursement funds, for the 1st Space Brigade
Monitors execution and liquidation of funds for the unit accounts.
Provides resource management support for the organization.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain the Financial Management Level 1 Certification.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain the Financial Management Level 2 Certification.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 pay band or GS-04 grade level, which includes Reviewing documentations to ensure accuracy of details; Operating computer equipment to provide clerical support for the organization; And researching legal and regulatory material to obtain factual information. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01/GS-04).

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
