About the Position: Serve as a Budget Analyst at US Army Garrison Ft Carson CO, performing a variety of budget and administrative functions in implementing and administering the assigned budget in compliance with governing policies and procedures; And is regarded as the Directorates technical authority in budgetary/programming matters.

Duties

Prepare analytical statements and expenditure reports for leadership use in justifying program requirements. Formulate and develop long-range, multi-year budgetary plans for organizations. Provide technical guidance and advice to leadership on programming and budgeting. Conduct cost analysis of budging and funding to resolve budgetary problems. Utilize computer software to create a variety of budget reports, and to research, compile, and provide estimates on personnel salaries, equipment costs, training and travel expenses, and contractual support.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Secret background investigation.
  • Position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
  • Position requires a obtaining Financial Management Level 2 Certification.
