You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in N823 in the Position Management Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT
Duties
You will review and analyze WSS Department Staffing Plan Change requests for sound organizational
structure and affordability.
You will develop and create special ad hoc reports and respond to Command, NAVSUP and DON workforce management data calls as required.
You will assist and perform duties as assigned to pull necessary data and information from WSS
Departments to ensure all NAVSUP Manpower Taskers and Data Calls are completed.
You will provide advice, recommendations and information in the areas of NAVSUP
WSS specific manpower requirements to all levels of NAVSUP WSS management.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS 11: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Creating and maintaining internal controls which include, developing and maintaining personnel action tracking/correspondence files, financial verification documentation, and other supporting documentation to satisfy a detailed NAVSUP Inspector General (IG) audit; 2) Processing all requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs) for personnel actions to include recruitments/Recruit Verification Forms, Recruit Fill Checklists, reassignments, transfers, resignations, establishment of new positions, and promotions; 3) Gathering and ensuring proper completion and submission of all required supporting documentation in accordance with the current NAVSUP Hiring Order; 4) Reviewing WSS Command Batch SF50s pulled from DCPDS to ensure WSS Command Staffing Plan, WSS Organizational Charts, and FMT Tool accuracy; 5) Reviewing and analyzing WSS Department Staffing Plan Change requests for sound organizational structure and affordability.
GS 9: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Evaluating an organizations, methods, and procedures for providing administrative support systems such as records, communications, directives, forms, files, and documentation; 2) Assisting in processing all requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs) for personnel actions to include recruitments/Recruit Verification Forms, Recruit Fill Checklists, reassignments, transfers, resignations, establishment of new positions, and promotions; 3) Gathering and ensuring proper completion and submission of all required supporting documentation in accordance with the current NAVY's policy; 4) Analyzing management information requirements to help develop administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology; 5) Reviewing and analyzing an organization's Staffing Plan Change requests for sound organizational structure and affordability.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-9:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related.
