You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Strategic Supplier Management Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS

Duties

You will be responsible for overall planning, direction, and execution of the Department's programs and services for Strategic Supplier Management. You will coordinate and consult with NAVSUP Senior leadership to ensure an integrated approach across the supplier portfolio. You will be responsible for monitoring the overall success of NAVSUP's partnerships with critical suppliers as well as supervising the Supplier Relationship team. You will analyze data in conjunction with NAVSUP SMEs to maintain a common data baseline among NAVSUP and assigned suppliers. You will develop and present briefs to senior leadership, Flag-Officers, Senior Executive Service (SES) members, and corporate executives on status of the partnership, supplier performance, and any major issues. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing, maintaining, and developing new or existing supplier relationships; 2) Demonstrating detailed working knowledge of the Supply Chain business as it pertains to the Department of the Navy (DON) and its relationship with suppliers; 3) Developing strategic plans and recommendations utilizing knowledge of acquisition principles, polices, and requirements; 4) Applying analytical and data skills to support Supply Chain Risk Management and metrics in order to ensure optimum vendor performance; and 5) Providing technical advice and guidance to team members and coordinating team efforts to ensure mission requirements are met.
