You will serve as a Training Specialist (Aviation Maintenance) in the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training
(CNATT) of CNATT UNIT NORTH ISLAND.
Duties
You will oversee and manage various curriculum and training administration projects to completion.
You will review, develop and revise curricula via approved instructional systems and processes.
You will have knowledge of training aids, equipment, instructional needs, educational principles, and audit aviation training trail documents and master course files to evaluate course objectives.
You will have knowledge of training initiatives and processes (e.g., Ready Relevant Training) and ability to communicate quality product development and implementation with stakeholders.
You will utilize training systems (e.g., corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CETARS, AMI, LOM)) to maintain aviation course data and schedules.
Requirements

- May require infrequent overnight travel away from normal duty station.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide guidance and instruction in alignment with training and curriculum development policies and procedures; 2) Oversee and manage various curriculum and training administration projects to completion; 3) Review, develop and revise curricula via approved instructional systems and processes; 4) Knowledge of training aids, equipment, instructional needs, educational principles, and audit aviation training trail documents and master course files to evaluate course objectives; 5) Knowledge of training initiatives and processes (e.g. Ready Relevant Training) and ability to communicate quality product development and implementation with stakeholders; and 6) Utilize training systems (e.g., corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS, AMI, LOM)) to maintain aviation course data and schedules.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
or
LL.M., if related.
