You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Duties

You will serve as a senior analyst responsible for analyzing management information requirements. You will serve as a team leader, with responsibility for assigning segments of studies to participants. You will review administrative audit and investigative reports to determine appropriate changes or corrective actions. You will analyze and evaluate effectiveness of program operations throughout an organization or large complex multi-mission field activity. You will advise on distribution of work, and on potential benefits of automation to improve efficiency of operations.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing a transformational approach to modernizing acquisition documentation development and management to simplify processes, increase quality, and increase timeliness in this new digitized data space; 2) Working with teams throughout the NAVAIRSYSCOM Groups to assist in transformation and modernization of their consumption of acquisition and programmatic information, and support their establishment of documentation modernization within their Groups; 3) Incorporating industry management best practices and software development team techniques; 4) Assisting in command training for a transformational, digitized data space for the management of acquisition and programmatic information.
